When you’re shooting with a small group of friends, they want to avoid down time and tedious reloading. So you need a clay thrower with rapid speed and high capacity. They don’t want to spend more time loading the trap than shooting.

High speed and large capacity is what makes the AT-250 such a value for a small group of friends out for a shoot, or even for small clubs. The AT-250 is a fully automatic, 250-target capacity trap, with capacity distributed among seven feed towers.

Its shutter-quick 1.2-second cycle time keeps flocks of birds in the air at once, presenting targets from as near as 30 yards to as far as 90 yards out. With that speed and capacity, you and your friends never run out of targets.

It’s made in the USA with heavy-duty stainless steel construction. It boasts a light, powerful aluminum throwing arm. Built as solid as a tank and designed to last a lifetime, it comes with a 5-year limited warranty, as well as a lifetime warranty on the DuraClutch and the electrical system. As for the chain and sprocket, it doesn’t even have them. They were designed out. So you’ll never have to do last century’s messy, frustrating maintenance. This advanced, easy-maintenance design gives you peace of mind, even if a small club puts it through its paces daily.

If you’ve ever seen inferior designs confused by various brands of disc loaded into at once, you’ll appreciate the AT-250’s smart flexibility. Let any of your friends bring some clays. They’ll all work, as long as they are standard size. Different brands are simply not a problem for the AT-250. While inferior traps can take only one brand of clay, the AT-250 features a dual-articulating roller which feeds different brands of clay seamlessly, without a hitch, without interrupting your shooting. It just works.

Even better, the AT-250 is extremely lightweight for its capacity, so you can transport it via ATV, pickup, or by its traditional 2-wheeled cart (sold separately). Weighing in at only 65 lbs, it’s easily portable. And with the 75-foot release cord, you’re ready for any landscape, any course, at all times.

You’ll spend very little time loading this high capacity little clay thrower, and your skill will increase as your actual shooting time does. With more shooting time per practice, your fellow club members too will bring home better scores.

When you and your friends are ready to level up your shooting as a group, rely on the AT-250.

And if it’s just you, not your friends and not your club? All the better. You’ll load all your traps at once, and never touch the machine again — except for the release cord.

With the AT-250 as your shooting companion, you’ll be able to shoot more alone and have the scope to accommodate several more companions as well.

This is my second Atlas trap. I also have the AT150. These traps are awesome! You can throw the most consistent targets, with zero breaks for hours on end. This is priceless for a competitive shooter to practice. And its a whole lot of fun!

This thrower is a blast. I have an earlier model that doesn't have the tilt and it is exciting to use. Adding the tilt brings shooting clays to a new level. LOVE it. These throwers are top of the line, dependable, minimal maintenance even after sitting for long periods of time. I wouldn't but a thrower from any place else. The customer service goes above and beyond what is expected. I have never been disappointed in anything I've bought from Atlas. I would advise getting the remote and the cart also. makes it a complete set.

Recently purchased an AT-250. This is the 5th trap machine purchased from Atlas. Now have an ATA-50 with a wobble base, Hare-Rabbit, and Skeet AT-50's. The first purchase was about 5 years ago (ATA-50). We have put several thousand birds through that machine and it's still running like it did the first day we used it. I have only had the AT-250 for about a month but have already run over a thousand clays through it. As expected, and as is normal with the American made Atlas traps, there has been absolutely no issues. Excellent machines, and excellent customer service!!

I bought the AT-250 with the Tri-Axes base about a month ago. It was pretty much ready to use right off of the truck. Put cart together and was shooting clays within a hour. Since that time we have put close to a 1,000 targets thru it. It is so nice to not have to load and cock each time. Just press the button and it throws the target. The customer service at Atlas is outstanding. They have answered every time I have called them and always took the time to answer my questions. The AT-250 is a solid machine and I am sure it will last for many years to come.

Wish we had known about this machine years ago. We have shot well over 1,500 targets since purchasing a few weeks ago and have only had one break at release. The machine appears to be well-built and it works great. My family has had a lot of fun with this and will for years to come.

AT-250 Trap ordered and delivered in early July 2015 is exactly as advertised, high quality, fast cycling, and accurate in the repetition of sailing clays a consistent distance and path. On initial testing, 6 of 6 clays hit the same 10" diameter tree at the same height at a distance of approximately 40 yards. After a short period of use, a problem arose with the automatic feeding of clays from the carousel. Mike at Atlas Tech Service diagnosed the problem and guided me in the correction over the phone, a bracket came lose during shipping. Mike also took the time to describe the functioning of the machine, and taught me ways to preserve the function of the machine through proper preparation for storage between outings. Couldn't be more pleased with the trap, the technical assistance, and the experience. Highly recommend this company and this product. I'll write another review in a year, and tell you about reliability.

Our club, North Leominster Rod & Gun Club has just set up a 5-stand field. After much research, we knew that Atlas Traps was how we would make this happen. Mike Cline, is amazing! I was so impressed with Mike's customer service. Every question, and I had lots, was answered either by e-mail or phone right away. He always made us feel that if we had questions, keep calling. When he talked to us, you could almost feel the smile in his answers....He is a man who loves his job! Now for the product. We were totally impressed with the AT-250. We purchased 4 machines. 1 was a AT-250. Set up was so easy. It worked right out of the box. We hooked it up to a marine deep cycle battery, connected the solar panel to the battery and then connected our Long Range Receiver to the machine. Done in less than 5 minutes. The quality of the AT-250 is really "beefy". It's made in the USA. The AT-250 is all stainless. We won't have to worry about corrosion with our New England's weather with this machine. When we add additional machines to our 5-stand I will only add Atlas Traps. Their product is great. Were running Pat Traps and Super Stars on our skeet field right now and the quality of the Atlas Trap AT-250 is head to head with these other machines. If your gun club is looking to make a purchase, I would highly recommend Atlas Traps. Ask for Mike Cline. You'll be glad you made the call.
